I never knew about Madras Masala before one of my church team leaders treated me to a wonderful South Indian dinner there. Ann Arbor definitely has a good selection of Indian and Middle Eastern food in terms of authenticity (much better than the Chinese/Taiwanese/Japanese food here), and this place is not an exception 🙂
I ordered this Chicken Hyderabadi (comes with jasmine rice) and it turned out to be way more spicy than the other dishes we ordered lol. It’s good but not something that would make me wanna finish it.
I don’t remember the name of this but it’s one of the vegetarian entrees. This was SO GOOD! It’s tomato curry with cheese cubes inside, and the curry has so many layers of taste within……simply amazing! So wanna try again 🙂
Our entrees come with rice, we had to order naan separately. (love naan! <3)
My friend ordered the non-vegetarian thali (they call it a “full meal”, and it comes with a plate of appetizers). I tried the rice, lamb curry, tomato curry, and yoghurt dishes. SO. GOOD. 🙂 Yoghurt dip has always been my favourite dip for thali, hehehe.
All in all, this place is so good and worth the price – will definitely revisit!
