According to my kiwi friends this is one of the best restaurants in the city – and indeed it was an 1+ hour wait! Busy, crowded, but cheerful and comfortable place! All their food were so good!

This is my first time having raw oysters~these are smaller and not quite as fishy. Fresh and tasty with the vinegar! Yum

Raw Oysters (Orongo Bay)

Definitely my favorite dish out of all. The lamb is super soft and juicy, and the amount of fat is just on point. Goes so well with the herb on top too! Awesome!

Lamb Ribs w/ Skordalia & Cumin Paprika Oil

Fish was very tender, assorted with some homemade dip/sauce on top and eat with bread. One of my favorite dish of the night!

Meat very tender and skin crispy. Very good as well. The only down point is that the pork tastes a little dry after a while!

Crisp “Freedom Farms” Pork Hock w/ Apple & Horseradish Salsa Verde
(left to right) Kingfish, Port Hock, Potato Skins

Now this is a traditional NZ dessert based on meringue and fluffed egg-whites. It’s definitely light and yum but just a but too sweet for me personally.
