Field / PRAGUE

Field is recently rated Michelin one star in 2016 ⭐️  Like the name of the restaurant, the theme is “field” and all their creative cuisine corresponds to this natural/farm atmosphere!

It’s located at a corner not far from the Old Town Square.


The interior design is modern and simple, so is the design of their menu.



The appetizers/starters were all included, leaving no boring waiting time before our main dishes!

(Top left) These are the bread (pretzel, sour, etc.) for start. They tasted really good with chicken butter and other kinds of spread! The bread bowls are like nests while the butter is placed on a piece of rock. Isn’t it really cute!?

(Top right) To be honest I already forgot what it was exactly, but it again follows the “field” theme, doesn’t it look pretty?

(Bottom left) These funny looking things are caviar and cucumber in cones! Yummy and refreshing!

(Bottom right) It doesn’t look like it but this is meat!! Meat in red glaze and on black cold stones and in a nest…unique and so good!

This is the foie gras appetizer we ordered. Fancy goose liver with red (wine?) glaze on top and some berries. Comes with crunchy toast and a small glass of wine! Not the typical goose liver for sure!

Foie gras

My main dish!! Super soft lamb meat and crispy skin that melts instantly in the mouth❤ Very delicate taste…loved it!! Would be perfect without the sauce too!


These two are not my main dishes but they tasted really good too! My favorite is still the lamb, though! (left) suckling pig, (right) pike-perch

Last but not least……dessert! The dessert were very fancy and creative, and not too sweet either!! We ordered “tangerine, chocolate, almond, basil” (grey) and “pear, Jerusalem artichoke, Porter” (white)
